    Edwin Hill "The Missing Ones" Titcomb's Bookshop September 12 6:30pm

    We are so pleased to tell you that Edwin Hill will be joining us for our Thursday Evening Author Series on September 12th to talk about and sign copies of his new book, The Missing Ones!

    Edwin Hill has written for the LA Review of Books, The Life Sentence, Publisher's Weekly, and Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine. He is the vice president and editorial director for the market-leading publisher of composition textbooks, Bedford/St. Martin's, a division of Macmillan. He received a bachelor's degree from Wesleyan University and an MFA from Emerson College. He lives in Boston with his partner Michael and their dog Edith Ann.

    Ann Mah "The Lost Vintage" Titcomb's Book Club September 17

    Our Book Club pick for September is The Lost Vintage by Ann Mah, who will join our discussion by phone.  (this book will be available in paperback on August 6)

    Titcomb's Book Club meets on the third Tuesday of every month, at 7:00 PM in the newly expanded events room upstairs at the bookshop.  Everyone is invited, no reservations necessary!

    Laura Waterman "Starvation Shore" Titcomb's Bookshop September 19 at 6:30pm

    Laura Waterman will talk about and sign copies of Starvation Shore, her historical novel about the tragic 1881 Greely Expedition to the Arctic. Laura, an environmentalist and outdoor enthusiast, draws upon the historic records, diaries and letters of the men to reimagine the true story of these polar explorers fighting for their lives and their sanity.

    Marta McDowell "Emily Dickenson's Gardening Life" Titcomb's Bookshop October 6

    Author Martha McDowell will be here to talk about and sign copies of her delightful  book, Emily Dickenson's Gardening Life, on Sunday afternoon, October 6.  

    Marta McDowell lives, gardens, and writes in Chatham, New Jersey. She consults for public gardens and private clients, writes and lectures on gardening topics, and teaches landscape history and horticulture at the New York Botanical Garden, where she studied landscape design. Her particular interest is in authors and their gardens, the connection between the pen and the trowel.
