    We're so excited to announce that famed pop-up artist Robert Sabuda will be joining us on July 30th at 6:30pm at the Sandwich Public Library!! Robert Sabuda is one of the most innovative and inventive children's book creators and is known worldwide for his amazing pop-up paper engineering. His books include Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, The Twelve Days of Christmas, The Night Before Christmas, The Winter's Tale, Peter Pan, Beauty and the Beast, to name but a few, have garnered numerous awards and have made the New York Times bestseller lists on many occasions. He lives in New York City.

    Story Time Titcomb's Bookshop Wednesdays July & August at 9:30-10:00am

    Bring your little ones to the bookshop for Story Time this summer!  After reading a story, (often by the author!) there will be a simple craft and light refreshments.  If the weather is good, we'll be outside!

    On Wednesday, July 31, author Jim Petipos will read from his hilarious book, Cows Go Moo!  We hope you'll join us!

Join this band of bovines as they embark on their Udderly Crazy World Tour of music, merriment, mishaps, and cow farts!     Richard Russo Titcomb's Bookshop Sandwich Town Hall July 31 at 6:30pm "Chances Are"

    We are thrilled to invite you to spend "An Evening with Richard Russo" on July 31, 6:30pm at Sandwich Town Hall.  (This will be a ticketed event, details to follow.) The Pulitzer Prize-winning Russo will talk about his new novel, (his first stand-alone in a decade) Chances Are..., which comes out on July 30th.

    You're invited for what promises to be a fascinating discussion with author Lisa Taddeo regarding her new book, Three Women.  The discussion will be moderated by WCAI's Mindy Todd and will be held at the Sandwich Public Library on Thursday, August 1st at 6:30pm.

    Come to the bookshop on Tuesday evening, August 6th at 6:30pm to meet author Juliet Grames and listen to her talk about her wonderful new novel, The Seven or Eight Deaths of Stella Fortuna.

    Martha Zschock "Journey Around Cape Cod A to Z" Story Time Titcomb's Bookshop August 7 9:30-10:30am

    Bring your little ones to hear author Martha Zschock read from her wonderful books, including Journey Around Cape Cod from A to Z, and Hello, Cape Cod!.  After the story, there will be a simple craft and light snacks.  

    Martha Zschock is the author and illustrator of many children’s books and products. She is a former elementary school teacher and loves to continue taking children on field trips through her “Journey Around” and “Hello!” series of books.  She lives on Cape Cod with her family.

    Our Book Club pick for August is A Place for Us by Fatima Farheen Mirza, who will join our discussion by phone.  

    Titcomb's Book Club meets on the third Tuesday of every month, at 7:00 PM in the newly expanded events room upstairs at the bookshop.  Everyone is invited, no reservations necessary!

    Sarah Blake is the author of the novels, Grange House and the internationally best-selling The Postmistress; a chapbook of poems, Full Turn; and Runaway Girls, an artist book in collaboration with the artist, Robin Kahn. She lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband, the poet Joshua Weiner, and their two sons.
