IFAW Speaker Series Thor Hanson "Buzz" February 7

The International Fund for Animal Welfare invites you to join them for the second in their three-part speaker series, Thor Hanson, on Thursday, February 7 from 6 - 9pm at  IFAW, International Operations Center | 290 Summer St | Yarmouth Port, MA  

Thor Hanson is a conservation biologist, award-winning author, Guggenheim Fellow and Switzer Environmental Fellow. He often works at the interface between natural and human systems, and has conducted research on habitat fragmentation, endangered species, and the ecological impacts of warfare. His published works include Buzz, The Triumph of Seeds and Feathers, The Evolution of a Natural Miracle, as well as the illustrated children’s favorite, Bartholomew Quill. Join us as Thor shares experiences from his research and conservation endeavors that has taken him to far-off lands.

Discussion will be followed by cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.  Books will be available for purchase at the event courtesy of Titcomb's Bookshop.
