We invite you to meet Cliff Hagberg, author of "Cliff's Corner", at the bookshop on Saturday, March 24 from 2 - 3pm.
About Cliff's Corner: Cliff’s book of essays, taken from his successful blog, Cliff’s Corner, touch on everything from gun control, food, women, growing up and all of the things we all experience in everyday life. His wit and humor will have you reading out loud to share his insights with your family and friends. In the end, one man’s stories are the stories of all of us with only the names changing. As one long time reader stated, “I like reading Cliff’s Corner because I see things from a very different viewpoint and there are times when I actually laugh out loud”.
About the author: Always the one at the party with an acerbic tongue and slightly sarcastic wit, but with a touch of caring, Cliff Hagberg was more of an observer than participant. Over the years his scrutinies have given him a slightly off center sense of humor and a refreshing viewpoint of the human condition.
Cliff Hagberg grew up and still lives on Cape Cod in Massachusetts. Cliff brings to his essays a quintessential New England viewpoint of life, politics, Cape Cod and, of course, family. Commenting on everything from the perfect clam chowder to current events, readers enjoy his quirky take on just about everything.
When not writing about his examinations of the world around him, Cliff is a partner in a development and property management company that operates the Sandcastle Resort and Club in Provincetown, Massachusetts. He is an award winning actor, musician and, at one point, even wrote stand up comedy.
When its time to relax, Cliff enjoys fishing, traveling and just sitting at home with good friends and a glass or two of bourbon where all of the problems of the world are finally solved.
