You're invited to the bookshop to meet author Megan Murphy as she signs copies of her inspirational book, A Pebble for Your Thoughts, on Saturday, September 21 at 3:00 PM. Many of you are familiar with Megan's work with the Kindness Rocks Project: The Kindness Rocks project when Megan Murphy was on a search for meaning; she picked up a beach rock on the Cape, painted a message on it and left it there. Soon after, she found others message rocks she has inspired. There are now kindness rock groups all over the worlds creating inspired acts of kindness to share. It has become a global movement featured by Oprah, Chicken Soup for the Soul and many others.
Kindness matters: Now more than ever, people are longing for kindness and connection. During these uncertain times, daily news reports focus on disturbing events of terrorism, gun violence, senseless murders and political bickering. We are bombarded with images that evoke fear and hostility. A Pebble for Your Thoughts provides a positive counteraction to all this negativity.
