Come to the bookshop on Saturday, October 28 and meet the author of Bit of a Witch: Colette Buchanan! Colette will be signing copies of her very popular book from 2:00 - 3:00 pm.
About the book: Do you believe in witches? Well, every witch had to have been a kid at first. Lilly can see, hear, and do things that no one else can. Getting into trouble is easy for Lilly because she forgets and does and says things that can call attention to herself. Lillian is not sure what you would call someone like her, but she has an idea. Lillian is a little kid in Boston during the 1950s. Lilly can predict the weather, find lost items, know who is calling on the phone, and just by concentrating, she can become the person and find out how she or he thinks and feels. She can see ghosts and perform feats of telekinesis, as well as tap into a plethora of handy and amusing bits of other magic. Lilly has one adventure after another, and sometimes she discovers another new paranormal ability along the way. She tries to find the good in people most of the time, but sometimes people can be mean. Lilly tries to be a good little girl always, but sometimes, watch out, because if she has to, she certainly can be a little Bit of a Witch.
